"YOUR STRING IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND YOUR RACQUET - CHOOSING THE RIGHT STRING FOR YOU IS EVERYTHING"

yOUR GUIDE TO MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE
Making the right string choice can inevitably transform your game. Equally, making the wrong choice can often lead to disappointing outcomes and unrealised potential.
More often than not, price is an irrelevant factor.
The difference of $5 to $10 when compared to the fun and improvement in your game is more than worth the money. If you can hit with more spin and power than your opponent, then isn't it worth it?
Below is a good guide - but talking to us is even better... and FREE!
1
POLY / CO POLY /MONO STRINGS
Used by 95% of players on the professional circuit, poly/mono strings provides durability, a crisp feel & a greater ability to impart spin. However, with a crisper feel it can often feel slightly stiffer and/or harsher for people with sensitive joints.
4
QUALITY
As with most products, natural gut comes in different levels of quality. Natural gut strings can be graded by the consistency in their manufacturing process, diameter and choice of natural fibres. The quality of the product will have a significant impact on the playability of the string
2
MULTIFILAMENTS
A multi-fiber synthetic string which offers increased feel, touch and comfort. It plays as similar to natural gut as you can get without the price tag. However, with its softer properties, it is generally less durable than poly string types and offers greater feel rather than spin.
5
DURABILITY & VALUE
Since natural gut is produced using natural fibres, it generally has a shorter life span both in your racquet and on the shelf. This is where synthetic gut string can have a significant advantage when making your string choice.
However, the superior playing qualities of natural gut often helps justify its price tag
3
NATURAL GUT
With a combination of feel, touch, control and power Natural Gut the ultimate tennis string. However, with any premium product, it generally comes with a higher price tag than most strings on the market. When choosing natural gut, you should consider #4 and #5
6
TENSION & STRINGING
In general, tight tension brings on more control & less power and looser tension provides more power and less control. Essentially, you want to string your racquet as loose as what you can control.
This is where your stringer can be used to your advantage, Assisting you with tension, string type, string pattern and/or hybrid stringing. All advice is given with your game in mind.
